Origin, the comics by era, abilities and recorded feats.

Origin

Victor was born in Latveria to a Romani family of the Zefiro clan, hunted by the soldiers of a cruel king. His father Werner was a healer; his mother Cynthia practised sorcery and struck a bargain with Mephisto that ended in her death when Victor was still small. Werner later died on the run after failing to save the dying queen, leaving the boy with two inheritances: a grudge against the crown and a trunk of his mother's occult tools. He taught himself both science and magic, and word of his genius eventually carried him to a scholarship at State University in the United States.

At college he met Reed Richards and nearly traded blows with Ben Grimm, but kept everyone at arm's length while secretly building a machine meant to reach his mother's soul in the netherworld. Reed spotted an error in the calculations; Victor refused to listen. The device exploded, leaving a scar on his face that his pride magnified into ruin, and the university expelled him. He blamed Reed for the rest of his life.

Drifting through Europe, Victor at last followed word of a hidden order of monks to the Himalayas, where he nearly died before reaching their temple. Within a few years he had outstripped his teachers, taken command of them and named himself Doctor Doom. The monks forged him a suit of armour, and he pressed the mask to his face before it had cooled. He then went home, raised a rebellion with robot troops, killed the king, renamed the capital Doomstadt and took the throne of Latveria.1234
